University of North Texas - Administrative Coordinator I
* This posting is an hourly position and is non-benefits eligible.The Office of Diversity & Inclusion Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a part-time Administrative Coordinator I to join our team. The position will support the Director of Diversity and Inclusion and the Assistant Director of Diversity and Inclusion. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Process all travel needs for Director and Assistant Director including conference registrations, travel accommodations, vouchers and reimbursements as needed. * File documents, keep accurate records and take minutes for various committees and meetings. * Prepare correspondence, letters, and other documents as requested. * Data compilation and report building as needed. * Calendar/schedule/meeting coordination for director meetings and one-on-ones for the the Director of Diversity and Inclusion.* Coordinate arrangements for programs and events including room reservations, food and catering needs and any other vendors needed to ensure effective programming .* Ensure consistent application of policy. * Maintain Diversity and Inclusion email inbox.* Produce memorandums of understanding and assist with external partners.* Sponsorship solicitation and tracking reports.* Assist in other division special events as needed.* Create and manage database to support Office of Diversity and Inclusion.* Process purchase orders, requisitions, IDT/ABAs, and contracts according to university policies and directives for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.* Process co-sponsorships and memberships to support programming, both internal and external. * Utilize university P-card to purchase all supplies necessary to support the division, reconcile statements appropriately and then serve as reconciler for other card holders in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.* Input expenditures in the shared budget spreadsheet for reconciliation.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and three years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
