MS Engineer -Exchange and Skype/Lyn/Active Directory w/ heavy arch/eng
Individual will provide leadership and oversight of all MS environments from a technical point of view. Individual will work directly under the IT Systems Manager in running projects, providing advance troubleshooting, design and architecture environments with the ability to build, support and administer all Wintel and MS and related systems and applications. Individual will participate in DevOps functions, both operationally and with software development teams. Individual will work closely with MS, UNIX and DB teams in a cross-functional environment providing services to the development teams and the business directly.
Exchange and Skype/Lync background with a heavy background in Active Directory architecture/engineering.
Provide Microsoft engineering and administration for Windows 2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2 based systems.
Provide NetApp storage administration for multiple environments.
Provide support for Microsoft SCCM, SCOM and Orchestrator 2012 R2.
Provide support of Active Directory and related services.
Provide engineering and support for Exchange Server 2013 and related services.
Provide engineering and support for Skype Server 2013 and related services.
Will support multiple VMWare environments.
Will support Citrix environments.
Will build, maintain and support systems and servers.
Provide application support for the firm and an internal development group.
Will be required to resolve production issues and troubleshoot problems.
Responsible for administration and support of remote systems and applications.
Participate in on call/afterhours support.
We be required to write documentation in support of infrastructure.
Exceptional knowledge of Wintel, Microsoft and related technology engineering concepts and products.
Broad background in IT overall including networking, systems, UNIX, DB and all related Wintel/MS
Individual must possess advance troubleshooting skills.
Possess leadership skills and the ability to produce individually and collectively within a team environment
Strong oral / written communication and project management skills.
Good DevOps, Mode 2 / Bimodal understanding, concepts and tools
10 years of experience in related field.
Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):
Undergraduate degree in related field is preferred.
Current Microsoft and other certifications will be considered.
