Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness

Briar Cliff University of Iowa, an institution committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective, seeks an accomplished leader to become the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness. Academic rank as an assistant or associate professor will be considered based on appropriate experience and qualifications.

The Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan of institutional research and evaluation to support decision-making, mission, and strategic university goals. The Assistant Vice President will complete the analysis and reporting of such research for both internal and external audiences. Internally, the Assistant Vice President will also support academic department program review. The Assistant Vice President will serve as a member of appropriate university and faculty committees to support these responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in institutional research efforts in higher education and possess an appropriate terminal degree. He or she will possess experience in working as a liaison with the Higher Learning Commission. The successful candidate will have a history of working collaboratively with colleagues and in working with appropriate statistical analysis software to support research efforts.
