The George Washington University invites applications for two contract associate professor and/or professor positions, non-tenure accruing, in the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Off-Campus Programs Office in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. This is an excellent opportunity for two outstanding people to teach, guide, mentor, and advise students in Doctor of Philosophy (position 1) and Doctor of Engineering (position 2) programs of study and research. These are two-year, renewable appointments.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The positions require the ability to advise Ph.D. (position 1) and D.Eng. (position 2) students on conducting top-quality scholarly/practical research, to guide them to successful completion of the degree, and to perform well in the classroom teaching graduate courses to managers of technology in industry, government, and international entities. The successful candidates will join a highly competent team of academic engineers and participate in the publication of major papers in leading engineering journals. Service expectations are commensurate with rank.Minimum Qualifications:
