Duties: Working under the Digital Content Programmer (DCP) for Special Collections at the Penn Libraries, the Programmer Analyst will coordinate with international partners to develop software, data models, and workflow. The Programmer Analyst will work with the DCP, SDBM staff, and the Libraries' Technical Services team and project partners to design and implement a Linked Data model for the analysis of the history and movement of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts over the centuries. The Programmer Analyst will use technologies such as Ruby on Rails, RDF, SPARQL, and JSON-LD to build an interface for the sharing of SDBM data in a Linked Data environment.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
