Campus Administrative Assistant
The Campus Administrative Assistant is directly responsible to the Registration and Records Manager. This position is responsible for processing registration and related enrollment tasks, processing payment information, maintaining student records, and providing general information as requested.
Primary responsibilities are as follows:
Process new student information as required.
Process registration and enrollment information for credit courses, non-credit courses, adult education programs, youth offerings and contractual registrations.
Process transcript requests, student record updates and office correspondence.
Perform document imaging tasks as required.
Perform the cashier functions, including processing payments and payment plans, balancing daily cashiering sessions to prepare for transfer, accepting third party contracts and complying with PCI regulation and Red Flag procedures.
Answer phone inquiries and research registration and academic record issues.
Provide general information to students, staff, faculty, and the general public.
Understand and comply with FERPA requirements.
Maintain the security of student records, both physical and electronic.
Perform receptionist duties including, but not limited to, scheduling appointments for student services, answering multi-line campus phone, posting class cancellations, and understanding evacuation and other emergency procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of related office/clerical experience.
Excellent computer and software skills.
Excellent organizational, human relations and communication skills.
Associate degree preferred.
Experience in a college environment preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
