Position Summary: The .Net Developer provides professional support in the design, development, documentation, deployment and support of the FRIB business and data systems under the direction of the FRIB Application Delivery Team Leader.

Faculty: Minimum Qualifications Support Staff: Minimum Requirements Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four year degree in Computer Science, MIS or other related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in information technology field; experience in software development using Microsoft stack (.Net framework, ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, MVC for .NET, and SQL Server including AJAX and Web Services); experience in full lifecycle solution development (analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment); experience with web frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap, KnockoutJS, and AngularJS; ability to work with export controlled items; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: Experience with Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools; working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, Cake PHP, JavaScript and SharePoint development environments, web development tools, standards, and technologies (e.g. AJAX, JSON, XML); familiarity with SVN/GIT or other version control systems; demonstrated understanding of SQL databases (normalization, design principles, T-SQL); familiar with third party components such as Telerick and KendoUI; understanding of MVC structured development pattern and design deliverables; demonstrated understanding of object oriented design and development patterns; comfortable working independently and in a team environment; proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git; familiarity with continuous integration, including automated testing and unit testing; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational, analytical, conceptual, and problem solving abilities.
