The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor. This appointment will commence September 1, 2017. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Primary responsibilities will be in the area of undergraduate organic chemistry instruction with opportunities to teach in other subject areas depending on the candidate's experience and expertise. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in chemistry and demonstrate thorough knowledge of current theory and practice in the field of organic chemistry. Experience in contemporary evidence-based pedagogical methods preferred.
