Advertised Salary: Minimum $45,000 Maximum $60,702 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health sciences or related field.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: A minimum of three years experience working in clinical research is strongly preferred. Experience in pediatrics and with pediatric phlebotomy is desirable.



Position Summary: Applying knowledge of methods and regulatory requirements for pediatric clinical research protocols, the Research Specialist works closely with the program administrator, research nurses and investigators to meet research goals. The incumbent maintains knowledge of clinical research principles and specific study guidelines to assist the research nurses and investigators in organizing patient study participation. The incumbent interfaces with other departments within the hospital, clinics, and referral area as necessary to identify, collect and disseminate patient and protocol information.



Additional Information: Successful applicants will be energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, will have excellent organizational skills, and will be capable of working with a team to execute studies efficiently. Must be able to coordinate multiple studies simultaneously.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, research team, parents and children.

A caregiver background check will be conducted.

A valid driver's license and eligibility is required for Car Fleet usage.
