The Pharmacy Director Associate for Specialty Pharmacy will oversee services including inventory procurement, information technology, revenue cycle management, narcotic distribution systems, and provision of specialty pharmacy services to all outpatients (discharge, clinic, and employees). Additional duties include, but are not limited to: establishing and upholding standards of quality, productivity, and performance according to URAC and TJC accreditation standards; complying with all State, Federal, and local regulations including obtaining and maintaining state licensures needed to provide service to defined service area for UK Specialty retail pharmacies and distribution centers; assuring adequate hiring of staff to support operations and maintaining appropriate staffing levels; supervising direct reports including annual performance evaluations and disciplinary action as necessary; and participating in development of new specialty pharmacy initiatives with Pharmacy Enterprise management and UK Healthcare leadership.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing, walking with, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing repetitive motions (such as typing); and traversing the campus for meetings.



Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, 40 hours/week. May be required to work overtime as needed. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position that requires a flexible schedule.
