Summary of Duties:
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Hui Zhang at Washington State University Spokane in the College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences to study immunology and cancer-associated cachexia. The research in Zhang lab is focused on cancer immunology and immunotherapy, and the molecular mechanisms governing cancer-associated cachexia. We are seeking a self-motivated scientist with the ability to independently design and carry out experiments, interpret results and write manuscripts. Required Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have:



A recent PhD in molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology or a closely related field.

A strong publication record.

Knowledge of molecular biology, immunology, cell biology and cancer biology.

Demonstrated techniques that include DNA, RNA, protein manipulation and analysis, Western blot, immunoprecipitation, ChiP assay, cell culture, primary cell isolation, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and microscopy.

Experience with animal handling and mouse in vivo tumor models.
