Job Description
Under limited supervision, the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life promotes a positive profile of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life by providing overall advisement, training and support to recognized social fraternities and sororities at the University of South Carolina. The director will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan, goals and measurable outcomes that will support and maintain the fraternity and sorority community at USC as a national model system. The director is instrumental in shaping a fraternity and sorority master plan that encompasses current and future chapter facilities and addresses leadership development, facilities priorities, and other educational, community building and risk management programming needs of Greek organizations. The director will oversee the operation and management of the Greek Activity Center. The director serves as an advocate for Greek life on campus and collaborates with a variety of partners and stakeholders. This position will supervise the Fraternity and Sorority Life team of seven professional staff, 20 property managers and graduate assistants.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Student Personnel Services or related field and 7 years experience in student services program area.

Master's degree in Student Personnel Services, Higher Education, Counseling, Public Administration, Business or J.D. or doctorate degree in Higher Education, Educational Administration, Student Affairs or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
Membership in a Greek organization is preferred. Proven experience in relationship building, strategic planning and execution are preferred.
