Senior Tax Accountant
An established CPA firm is seeking an experienced CPA or an individual actively working toward a CPA license to join our team. While providing professional services to Individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts and Pension Plans, we are dedicated to providing expert advice to the entrepreneurial minded clientele.
To be considered as a candidate for this position you must possess A MINIMUM of 4-6 years of Public Accounting experience preparing tax returns for individuals as well as business entities. The ability to prepare and review tax returns for various types of entities is a must. A desire to assist in expanding business growth and efficiency with fresh ideas is also highly desired.
Other qualifications and knowledge requirements include:
4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong computer and research skills, including experience with Quickbooks, Sage (Peachtree) and Excel
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
Strong communication skills
Self-motivation, flexibility and an internal drive to meet deadlines
A positive and professional attitude
A desire to learn and grow professionally
Responsibilities will include preparing, reviewing and/or assisting with:
Federal/State/Local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts
Tax compliance and tax planning services
Interaction with clients
