Job Description

Job purpose

  • Provide accurate and timely information pertaining to profitability of prospects and clients.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Accurate management and administration of pro forma financial statements and total costs for client engagements (pre and post sales) that are routine opportunities and occasionally may be unique/moderately complex
  • Prepare competitive pricing documents and breakouts for the Sales Department to close new/existing business opportunities and retain existing customer base
  • Develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning, forecasting, modeling and internal controls
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and detailed cost and price estimates and routinely provide multiple pricing options and scenarios to Sales by comparing different methods of billing
  • Work with the Sales Department and the Operations Department to develop competitive price strategy to win prospective and ongoing deals from customers
  • Confer with the Sales Department and the Operations Department on long term work/ multi-year deals to build pricing models/forecasts
  • Facilitate management approvals throughout pro forma sign off process
  • Facilitate communication and information among Management, Finance, Sales, and Operations regarding pricing of deals (pre and post sales)
  • Maintain knowledge of market competitive pricing and factor in the market when developing pricing solution and recommendations
  • Provide financial analysis to assist in contract negotiations and to help in minimizing the company's financial risk
  • Develop reports for senior management
  • Identify and frequently implement ideas or practices for improved efficiency and/or accuracy
  • Perform other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
  • Strong RFP pricing modelling skills


  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellence with Excel to include Vlookup, Hlookup, Pivot table, Functions, Macros
  • Financial Modeling
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Great presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability
  • Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
  • Willingness to work long hours, when necessary
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexity.
