Position Description

Non-tenure track appointment for 2016-2017 academic year to begin August 16, 2017 and potentially renewable for 2017-2018. Ph.D. required with a specialty in Hispanic linguistics to teach undergraduate Spanish at all levels, with possibilities for occasional general linguistics in English for the Linguistics Studies Minor and both Spanish and linguistics in the M. Ed. in Languages program. Teaching load 4-4, and at least two years of full time teaching experience, preferably in Spanish. Service contributions in the department are expected. Requires native or near-native fluency in Spanish, and strong command of English.
