General Summary: The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Temporary Part Time clerical position in the Office of the General Counsel. This position will help with summer projects dealing with revising or drafting University policy's. This position will be approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Policy research and drafting.
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents such as letters and memoranda's.
  • Administrative assistance as needed; perform other duties as required.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong research skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while still working as a team member in the department.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have finished 1 st year of law school.
  • Must be working towards Juris Doctor and be currently enrolled in law school.
  • Previous policy writing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office, email and internet browser programs.
