About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: Reporting to the Talent and Rewards manager, the Senior Compensation Analyst serves as the compensation liaison to the broader HR Community throughout campus. -Leads job evaluation process, including facilitating internal peer reviews and external competitive market pricing assessments. Aligns base pay levels appropriately to the level of talent. -Leads University-wide staff Annual Compensation Process, including preparatory and post-process analysis of base pay levels of competitiveness and talent investment. -Partners with HR Community to facilitate effective compensation decisions and support talent investment, including: -Create educational tools and resources -Design reports which reflect meaningful analytics and metrics -Streamline business processes -Enhance customer experience -Formulate thoughtful program recommendations which balance University needs with industry trends -Create both short and long term base pay strategies, and design action plans for implementation. -Manage market data survey portfolio, submission and result processes, and market data library. -Develop compensation policies, processes, and governance which: -Enable talent attraction, motivation and retention efforts -Strengthen regulatory and compliance efforts -Reflect competitive market landscape -Create base pay structure and governance approach. -Lead Executive Compensation process. -Mentors, coaches and oversees the work of less senior team members. -Performs other duties as assigned.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as human resources, finance or business administration required.

Unit Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in compensation program administration and management, human resources, project management or information reporting required. Experience working in both public and private institutions required. Workday experience preferred.
