Required Qualifications: (As Evidenced by an Attached Resume)
Bachelor's degree. Two (2) years of experience to include clinical research coordination and/or research assistance. Must have experience obtaining informed consent, assisting with the preparation of research protocols, coordinating patient transport, and collection and processing of data.
Experience in patient transport, handling and processing biological study specimens, monitoring study budget, obtaining study approvals, IRB human subjects training.
Brief Description of Duties:
Collecting informed consent, coordinating patient transport via taxi from the Dialysis Clinic Unit to St. Francis hospital, and assisting in preparation of research protocols.
- Collect, process, and interpret data.
- Monitor study budget.
- Set the timelines for and monitor the progress of shipment requests for storage samples and verify data; monitor study progress throughout the study.
- Provide sponsors with study management reports.
- Inform team leader about study progress and monitor patient and data safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
