Required Qualifications: (As Evidenced by an Attached Resume)

Bachelor's degree. Two (2) years of experience to include clinical research coordination and/or research assistance. Must have experience obtaining informed consent, assisting with the preparation of research protocols, coordinating patient transport, and collection and processing of data.

Preferred Qualification:

Experience in patient transport, handling and processing biological study specimens, monitoring study budget, obtaining study approvals, IRB human subjects training.

Brief Description of Duties:

Collecting informed consent, coordinating patient transport via taxi from the Dialysis Clinic Unit to St. Francis hospital, and assisting in preparation of research protocols.

  • Collect, process, and interpret data.
  • Monitor study budget.
  • Set the timelines for and monitor the progress of shipment requests for storage samples and verify data; monitor study progress throughout the study.
  • Provide sponsors with study management reports.
  • Inform team leader about study progress and monitor patient and data safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
