Job Description: Intern Engineer (Farmingdale - NY)

Job Responsibility Summary:
• As an engineer you will be designing critical systems for our industrial customers
o Ability to Design, implement and lead automation solutions aimed at reducing cost and improving safety and quality in the field Industrial Automation System
o Experience with controls hardware including Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Schneider & Mitsubishi
o Provide engineering for design of process automation systems layout with instrumentation
o Produce designs for process and machine based automated control systems
o Develop start to finish detailed schematics sets using AutoCAD and Eplan
o Programming of PLC / HMI/ SCADA and PC based control systems
o Design Drawing Schematics using AutoCAD and Eplan
o Complete understand and working knowledge of UL,ISO, OSHA, CE, as they apply to design of industrial and automation process and machine based controls systems
o Provide Submittals to engineers for design review
o Estimate and provide take-offs for parts and labor used in our bidding processes
o Produce documents: such as FAT, SAT and O&M manuals and Training manuals
• 4 Bachelor's Degree or in Electrical or Computer systems Engineering
• 5 Years of related design engineering experience using PLC / HMI / SCADA
• Experience with Allen Bradley, GE, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Controls design
• Project Management Experience / Electrical Industrial Automation Experience
• Electrical Drafting Experience
• Advanced Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
