Teach a full range of mathematics courses from developmental through Calculus III and Differential Equations. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, departmental, and College activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics required. Higher education/community college/high school teaching experience preferred. Experience teaching in alternative modes of instruction (online, modular, computer enhanced, lecture) desired. May involve travel to other campuses for day, evening and/or weekend classes. A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process. 232 day, 12 month contract. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. Hiring process includes a background check. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
