Accounts Payable & Payroll Person
Commercial General Contractor in business for 38 years is seeking a full time applicant to join the accounting department. The individual should have experience in a job cost accounting environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Must be able to multitask in a multi-business Accounting Office.
Enter and process full cycle accounts payable of invoices and Subcontractor payments.
Enter and process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 35 employees.
Prepare and process all required withholding tax reports and payments.
Maintain Vendor/Subcontractor files.
Maintain Employee files.
Prepare required reports for management on a monthly basis.
Associates Degree in Accounting at a minimum, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
2 years minimum of similar Accounting experience.
Good organizational and communications skills
Good computer skills in MS Office and experience in job cost accounting software.
