Contributes as part of the UCH Psychiatry attending team to the function of the program including:

  • Serve as faculty attending for CeDAR service
  • Participation in hospital and departmental committees
  • Participation in quality review activities
  • Participation in the attending call rotation
  • Contributes as part of the UCH Outpatient Clinical Attending Team.
  • Participation in hospital and departmental committees
  • Participation in quality review activities
  • Participation in the attending call rotation
  • Demonstrates proficiency in teaching and mentoring of residents and medical students.
  • Supervises medical students and residents on clinical services
  • Teaches in residents or medical students classes
  • Actively Contributes in Academic Advancement of his/her discipline
  • Supports and conducts research projects
  • Participates in clinical trial research conducted within UCH's clinical services
  • Submits academic work for publication
  • Keeps abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skills
  • Maintains eligibility for SOM faculty appointment


Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD, CO Physician License or Eligible for CO Physician License
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Psychiatry preferred
  • An outpatient psychiatrist with expertise in addiction psychiatry to work across two clinical sites.
