Assistant, Associate or Professor
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Missouri seeks applicants for multiple tenure-track/tenured positions at all ranks, with a preference for tenure-track at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting Fall 2017. The newly formed EECS Department is expanding the systems and parallel computing areas that are aligned with the larger cross-disciplinary Big Data search in the College of Engineering (see http://engineering.missouri.edu/jobs). The EECS Department annually hosts several NSF funded REU summer programs including smart networks, cloud computing and computational neuroscience.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field, demonstrated success in research, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. For a candidate seeking a position at the level of associate or full professor, a record of attracting external research funding appropriate to their rank will be an important factor. Candidates with a strong research portfolio in systems, high performance parallel computing, computer architecture, reconfigurable computing, database, operating systems, networking, resource-aware computing, embedded systems, or hardware security, are especially encouraged to apply.
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
