Position Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

Specify, Develop, modify, maintain, and validate computer programs
Specify and develop programs to support research needs
Validate computer applications

Develop and Program Site and Sponsor Reporting
Help design reports based upon CRF and database structure
Design project directory architecture
Develop SAS programs to create site and sponsor reports
Perform quality control on all reports prior to delivery
Work with site management team to answer follow-up questions about reports

Prepare and maintain project documentation
Follow SOP documentation standards and/or work practices
Maintain analysis documentation
Document directory structures for analysis files and data files

Estimate and manage project workload
Provide status updates to supervisor
Estimate time required to complete various tasks
Attend and contribute to team meetings as required
Coordinate statistical programming efforts of others on project

Learn, apply, and share new techniques to increase efficiencies
Become an advanced SAS programmer
Understand CMS data and implementation across projects
Assist in mentoring junior staff as needed
Educate others in formal and informal settings

Other Duties:
Answers analysis programming questions that others may have.
Attend departmental meetings

Minimum Qualifications


Education

Work requires a Bachelor's degree in mathematics or computer science or a computer-related field or equivalent coursework or technical training.

Experience

Work requires two years applications programming experience with some responsibility for systems design and supervision or project coordination.
