The Assistant AD of Sports Medicine provides athletic training/sports medicine services to NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletes at Central Michigan University. This position serves as the head athletic trainer providing clinical instruction, and supervises the trainers and training rooms within the department. This position develops, coordinates and administers a comprehensive sports medicine program as well as performs professional and administrative services essential for the successful implementation and development of the program.Bachelor's degree, preferably in sports medicine.
Five years professional experience in intercollegiate athletics.
Certified by the NATA BOC.
Currently licensed or eligible for Athletic Training licensure in the state of MI.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive attitude.
Knowledge of and commitment to following NCAA rules and regulations.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
