Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures seeks qualified individuals to teach intensive Russian courses in its four week STARTALK summer school program. The successful candidate will teach the course(s), participate in cultural activities included in the program and contribute to the curriculum development.

The anticipated need may include but is not limited to undergraduate, at elementary level; Russian 1010 and Russian 1020.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters of Arts (or equivalent) with preferably a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the language taught or closely related area.

Native or near-native ability in both Russian and English is essential.

Provide two letters of recommendation, at least one of which should clearly address teaching ability.

Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience at college level.
