Job Summary/Basic Function:
This is a 12 month professional research position whose primary purpose is the creation and dissemination of knowledge pertinent to the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes Institute (AMMPI) particularly in the area of structural materials.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering or related field
- Legal authorization to work for UNT at the time of employment
- Experience in one or more of these areas: crystal plasticity or related computational tools, advanced characterization of structural materials, advanced processing of structural materials
