Job Summary/Basic Function:
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program of national significance, to mentor graduate students, and to collaborate with faculty and external agencies to achieve the academic goals of the university. In addition, he or she will be expected to engage in teaching graduate courses in Educational Leadership and to contribute service to the department, College of Education, and the University of North Texas. Summer teaching is contingent on student demand and funding. Service on dissertation committees, including the chairing of dissertations, is expected.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must hold an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or a closely related field (e.g., Educational Policy or Educational Administration). The successful candidate must be qualified to assume the rank of Associate Professor with tenure.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who have a research focus on EC-12 public schools, and/or experience with diverse populations.
