The Assistant Director of Residence Life for Student Conduct coordinates the College’s student conduct system, supervises on-campus housing operations including but not limited to move-in team, off-campus residence education, neighborhood liaison, desk operations, summer housing and conferences, and residence life website. Reporting to the Director of Residence Life, the Assistant Director directly supervises one part-time Administrative Assistant and indirectly supervises 5 professional live-in staff and 65 desk assistants. Additionally, the Assistant Director works collaboratively with Residence Life office staff and other College divisional and departmental personnel. With the Director of Residence Life, the Assistant Director will develop a sense of community, and encourage the personal growth of students through creative programming, mentoring, and supervision. 

This is a full-time, twelve-month, live-on position that will involve "on-call" responsibilities. In order to facilitate interaction with residents and faculty, a meal plan is provided to the Assistant Director of Residence Life when classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters.


Master’s Degree in student personnel, counseling, or related field required

2-4 years of  experience in college student affairs work, residence life, judicial affairs preferred

Ability to work effectively in collegiate setting with students, faculty, administrators, and staff

Ability to manage and coordinate departmental programs and services
