Master Marine Electrician
Applicants must be able to disconnect, install, hook-up, troubleshoot and repair wiring circuits, motors and controllers aboard U.S. Navy and MSC vessels. Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Must be able to plan and execute work assignments from supervisors, as well as possess a good working knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items, NFPA, Navy specifications and applicable electrical installation standards.
Must have proven experience to include journeymans license and/or military service schools
Strict adherence to safety, quality standards, good housekeeping habits, high level of critical thinking/reading comprehension. Working knowledge of shipboard electrical systems (repair/installation practices, procedures, alignments and troubleshooting). Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
Must be able to hold US Government Secret Clearance
