Duties: This position will support the pulmonary research activities of a CCEB faculty member. This position will be responsible for coordinating submission and renewal of IRB documentation from all Field and Core Centers; coordinating non-competitive renewal submissions for the contract periods; preparing DSMB meeting documentation; managing all communications and meeting scheduling (e.g., teleconferences and face-to-face meetings); facilitating all reimbursements for study personnel and monitor subcontracts; taking minutes at teleconferences and face-to-face meetings; and maintaining the master calendar for all study-related tasks. In addition, in support of the faculty member, duties will include: assisting with article references and online manuscript submission process; managing calendar; processing all reimbursements for travel, conference fees and other miscellaneous research activities; updating and maintaining CV and FEDS database; and submitting and managing supply orders for research projects.

Qualifications: The minimum of a High School diploma and 3 to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. College degree or coursework is a plus. Ideal candidate will have experience in an academic research setting, and function well independently as well as collaboratively. Ideal candidate will have superior organizational skills, have the capacity to handle multiple tasks, and possess a strong work ethic.
