Duties: Manage Masters and Ph.D. programs for and provide primary administrative support for Graduate Group Chair: monitor deadlines, ensure compliance with department, school, and university policies and procedures. Coordinate intake, registration, advisor-assignment, qualifier, and all steps through graduation. Advise masters and PhD CBE students regarding department and university requirements, policies and procedures relevant to their program. Manage masters program records, compile program stats and reports. Track and report Masters and Ph.D. degree placements/employment. Organize departmental aspects of graduate orientation and graduate degree completion and commencement. Assist Graduate Admissions Chairs in Ph.D./M.S.E. recruiting. Screen, manage, circulate applications communicate with applicants and prospects, answer questions. Manage on-line recruiting system for department. Coordinate recruiting events: arrange for catering, lodging, and vendors in coordination with Business Office. Assist/advise prospects with visits. Handle related correspondence and paperwork. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred..
