Posting Summary:
The School of Medicine Clinical Trials Office seeks an OnCore Business Analyst to create enterprise guidance documents, policies, and standard operating procedures for OnCore, a clinical trials management system. The position will eventually oversee the future development and direction of OnCore after implementation.

The OnCore Business Analyst works closely with study teams, the UVa OnCore support team, and the Clinical Trials Office leadership. The incumbent supports clinical trials efforts and pursues opportunities to leverage OnCore to add value to clinical trials management through policy and procedure development, implementation, and management. Process improvement is also central to the position responsibilities.

The successful applicant must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience performing process improvement, needs assessments and advanced technical writing. Applicants must have proven ability to work cooperatively within a team setting as well as independently, excellent organizational and communication skills, demonstrated accountability in task ownership and solution-oriented work approach, and knowledge in the use of information technology as well as familiarity with the fundamentals of web-based application support.

Experience with policy implementation and in the clinical research industry is strongly preferred. Prior experience working with electronic research tools such as CTMS (Oracle Clinical, Medidata, OnCore), electronic data capture (EDC) systems or relational database skills is also preferred.

This position is restricted and contingent upon the continuation of funding.

7. Knowledgeable in the use of information technology, along with familiarity with fundamentals of web-based application support (navigation, user administration, data reports).
8. Ability to design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
