Job Description: The Brody School of Medicine in conjunction with Vidant Health are recruiting for a faculty position that will also serve as Executive Director of Vidant Health Cancer Care. The Executive Director will lead all essentials functions of the cancer hospital at Vidant Medical Center including, but not limited to, establishing and maintaining a cancer care delivery model, implementing standards and polices to ensure safe and efficient practices, collaborating with quality management, external regulatory and accrediting entities, ensuring compliance with JCAHO and OSHA, and ensuring fiscal sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications: MD or DO from an appropriately accredited institution The selected candidate must meet the requirements for a faculty appointment in the Brody School of Medicine. Eligibility for a North Carolina Medical License Board certification as a medical oncologist, gynecologist oncologist, or a fellowship trained surgical oncologist. Demonstrated clinical experience in the area of oncology. Demonstrated leadership experience in an academic setting.
