Job Summary: The College of Engineering (CoE) consists of nine academic departments and 40+ research centers, which along with the Dean's Office, has 2800 faculty, academic staff, classified staff, employees in training, graduate, and undergraduate employees and an annual budget of $215M from multiple funding sources. The College has nine buildings totaling approximately 820,045 square feet from which it operates its classroom instruction, instructional and research laboratories and administrative offices.
This position will report to the Assistant Dean for Facility Planning and Management for the College of Engineering in the management and delivery of many of the College's facility planning and building service needs. The position will coordinate with College senior leadership, Department Chairs, Department Administrators, faculty and staff. The position will directly support the Facility project planners and the Engineering Buildings Coordinator. Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and an energetic, proactive approach are critical to this position. The ideal candidate must be effective at managing a dynamic workload and varying deadlines.
