Assistant, Associate or Professor of Energy for Sustainability
The University of Missouri (MU) College of Engineering (http://engineering.missouri.edu/), under the leadership of Dean Elizabeth Loboa, is in the process of hiring up to 15 faculty positions at all ranks in the general field of Sustainability. This includes Energy for Sustainability. Research areas include, but are not limited to, energy production, conversion, storage, utilization and transportation, energy materials, renewable fuels, and energy economics and policy. Those with research interests complementing the current strengths at MU are especially encouraged.
Applicants should have earned the highest degree in a relevant discipline by the time of employment. Candidates should have a strong background in engineering, and/or physical, behavioral and social, sciences, or other areas related to Energy for Sustainability. The new faculty members may be hired jointly with other MU colleges/schools (http://missouri.edu/colleges-schools/). Each new hire will have a tenure home most relevant to her/his background. Successful candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to developing an active research program, while also demonstrating excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Salary is commensurate with Education and Experience.
