The Team

Be a part of a dynamic community dedicated to providing the resources, guidance and inspiration needed to create the ultimate student experience: from registration and financial aid applications to the first time they arrive at one of our Centers of Excellence or log in to their first class, from academic success planning to providing a safe environment, and from connecting them with community networks to launching them into the career of their dreams. Make their student experience exceptional.

We are currently seeking a Drilling Training Specialist who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.

The Opportunity
You: We're looking for an Oil and Gas industry professional like you to teach our corporate customers and open-enrollment students about the exciting world of O&G drilling. Your experience makes you the ideal instructor because you can impart both practical on-the-job tips and industry knowledge and expertise.

Your mission: At HCC, we're committed to preparing students for great new careers and enhancing professional opportunities for those already established in careers. We'll count on you to design and teach a curriculum that will equip our students with O&G drilling knowledge and skills.

Your work: You'll deliver training for both offshore and onshore drilling industry segments, establishing courses that follow best-practice educational standards; teaching students using a variety of proven effective methodologies; and providing engagement and support activities that encourage student learning.

When you're not teaching, you might be assisting students with opportunities for work (co-ops, part-time, work-study) and careers; evaluating program curricula and/or practices; advising declared majors; or reviewing textbooks and learning materials. You'll also assist the program director and program manager with planning and budgeting, and participate in various other Oil & Gas Drilling Center activities.

Next steps: If you're excited about passing the torch of your knowledge and skills to the next generation of O&G drilling experts, your next step should be to submit your application today!
