Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, one year term position for 2017-2018 academic year

Job Description:

  • Teach 3 sections of philosophy in each of the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters.
  • Light departmental service duties.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to and appreciation for teaching students from diverse, multi-cultural backgrounds.
  • Must be able to teach sections of introductory philosophy, intro to ethics, and/or Medical Ethics.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

PhD or ABD in Philosophy or closely related area, with a substantive training in philosophy and an active research program in philosophy.

Salary Range / Pay Rate:
