Summary: Executes Excellence in preparing monthly financial statements for 25-40 clients, accounts payable checks for some clients, payroll checks for some clients, prepares payroll taxes (941, 940, TWC and Sales Taxes) enters transactions in the general ledger and reconciles bank statements. Prepares Federal Tax Returns: Individual 1040's, Corporate 1120's & 1120s', Partnerships 1065's

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for "Hitting daily and weekly productivity Target Numbers" in preparing monthly financial statements and other activities and using quality control checklists to ensure preciseness and promptness.

Enters and posts transactions in the general ledger utilizing knowledge of debits and credits and reconciles bank statements.

Prepares accounts payable checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and use checklist to ensure preciseness and promptness.

Prepares payroll checks and related reports and taxes including 941, 940, TWC, W-2/3's, 1099/1096's and Sales tax returns and use checklist to ensure preciseness and promptness.

Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections.

Assists employees, vendors, or clients by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.

Keeps clients files up to date by filing all reports as needed on a DAILY basis.

Prepares organized Tax eWorkPapers by scanning client's tax documents in to the Electronic FileCabinet.

Prepares tax returns for Manager's review using the Tax eWorkPapers and importing Client's Tax Data from the accounting system: Individual 1040's, Corporate 1120's & 1120s', Partnership 1065.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from four-year school; and/or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA Certification a plus but not required.

Computer Skills:

A knowledge of Creative Solutions Accounting; Quickbooks Accounting software; Excel Spreadsheet software and "Word" Word Processing software helpful, not required. Knowledge of Windows Operating System is a must.
