Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Counselor

Summary Program & Position Description:

This is a full-time, grant funded, professional-level staff appointment in the Educational Opportunity Program beginning July 1, 2017.

EOP is a state funded position that focuses on educationally and economically disadvantaged students.

Reporting to the Director of the EOP, the successful candidate will be expected to provide academic, career, and personal counseling to SUNY Ulster students who meet EOP eligibility requirements. Additionally, this individual will implement an outreach program informing prospective EOP students about SUNY Ulster’s EOP program as well as other programs and services offered by the College. Occasionally may be assigned to evening or weekend hours for special events or at various locations.
