Job Title: CAD Detailer/Designer
Summary: Designs and creates components and assembly drawings in CAD.

Schedule: Day shift and overtime as necessary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creates and details part and assembly drawings. Designs new products and make improvements to existing products. Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings. Shows dimensions, material to be used, and other information necessary to make detailed drawing clear and complete. Works with other members of the engineering, operations staff, and customers, to ensure products are developed to meet all performance and quality standards in a timely matter. Helps develop procedures, processes, work instructions, and incorporates Design for Manufacturability. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications: Team player with successful track record of achieving results. Able to read prints and demonstrates a high attention to detail. Understands geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and manufacturing processes to incorporate in design. Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in machine tool design a plus.
Computer Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite required, skilled in SolidWorks a plus.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
