Adjunct Assistant Professor - Interior Design
Teach and facilitate classes in interior design including studio and lecture courses. Work with department members to plan, develop and implement up-to-date curriculum and assessment in interior design. Maintain office hours by appointment; participate in student organization, department, division and college activities; and support the mission of the college. Schedules could include evening teaching assignments, and assisting with interior design lab maintenance.
Bachelor's Degree with major in interior design or a closely related field. (Example: Interior Architecture)
Demonstrated ability to teach.
Master's degree in interior design or Bachelor's degree plus 18 graduate credit hours in interior design or a closely related field.
Tested professional certification from NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification,) NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association,) GBCI (Green Building Certification Inc.) or state certification or licensure in interior design. Interior design professional organization affiliation with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers,) IIDA (International Interior Design Association,) or NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association.)
