Basic Fuction:
Under the direction of the Director of Sponsored Research & Projects, the part time Coordinator provides frontline and administrative support in the handling of requests and proposals for grant-funded research and projects. The Coordinator is instrumental in ensuring a well-organized operation by helping to develop and operate systems that create efficiencies across several functions including: awareness of funding opportunities, processing of grant requests, budget development for grants, reporting, and record-keeping. The Coordinator also plays a key role in helping to ensure the timely submission of grants and reports. Additionally, the Coordinator assists the Director as needed with efforts to develop and fund university-wide initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination equivalent to: A Bachelor's degree and three years of grant administrative experience.
