Job Description

~~We are a full-service insurance brokerage company located in downtown Palo Alto. We need a Staff Accountant who will be supporting the Accounting operations as well as office data entry. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Duties include:

• Maintaining accounting records by making entries in GL
• Issue & Deposit Checks & Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
• Maintain accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.
• Generate end of months reports
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishing accounting and organization mission by completing tasks as needed.
• Data entry Applied Systems (TAM).

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong Accounting Knowledge
• Well versed in MS Office
• Detail oriented
• Organized
• Accounting degree / Prior Experience preferred.
