Senior Acquisition Professional/Project Manager -- SSC001
- Salary Range: $108,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year, plus full benefits, depending on previous experience (Benefits Summary is attached).
- Work Location: Work location will be ON SITE at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Silver Spring, MD. Telework is authorized for 1 day per week after 45 days of employment.
- Education/Years of Experience Required: 8 + years of experience plus High School Diploma, 7 + years of experience plus Associate's, 6 + years of experience plus Bachelor's Degree
- Technical Training Requirements: DAWIA or FAC-C Level 2 required, DAWIA or FAC-C Level 3 Preferred.
- Minimum Basic Skills: Candidates must possess the minimum requirements listed above, and must display their work experience and knowledge in the following areas:
o Cradle-to-grave Federal Contracting Experience including requirements development, pre-award, administration, and post-award activities utilizing FAR Part 8 (GSA Schedules), FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures), and FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation/Source Selection).
o More specifically - qualified candidates will be able to utilize and display these methods purchasing Information Technology Products and Services.
o Qualified candidates will be required to operate on their own, utilizing their contracting skills autonomously, and with little to no direction or training.
Fringe benefits pertain to full-time employees only. Defines a full-time employee as anyone who meets a minimum requirement of 30 hours per week. Anyone who falls below that threshold is considered a part-time employee. Part-time employees are eligible for benefits but the cost is passed directly to them.
Personal Time Off (PTO) (includes sick days, vacation, and personal time)
• 0-5 years 120 hours (3 weeks accrued at 10 hours per month)
• 5-7 years 160 hours (4 weeks accrued at 13.33 hours per month)
• 7-10 years 200 hours (5 weeks accrued at 16.66 hours per month)
10+ years 240 hours (6 weeks accrued at 20.00 hours per month)

Companies employees and dependents participation in an ACA Gold level CareFirst PPO health plans, a regular PPO with a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). All employees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible to participate.
Pays 100% of the PPO premium for all levels of coverage; and 100% of the Employee Only level for the regular PPO.
Dental Plan is thru DentaQuest
Offers its employees participation in Long Term Disability Insurance. All employees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible to for the plans. Coverage will become effective on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. Pays 100% of the premium. Long Term Disability benefit is 60% of monthly earnings to a maximum benefit of $6,000 per month with an Elimination Period of 90 days
Provides its employees Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance. All employees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the plan. Coverage will become effective on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. Pays 100% of the premium.
Employees are eligible for 1x your annual earnings to a maximum of $100,000.00.
Pays 100% of the premium. Describe the Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage, if offered. Describe the portion of the premiums paid by the company.
401K, Retirement, profit Sharing
401K. Employees hired on or after January 1, 2013 will be eligible on the 1st days of service of the month following 90 days of employment. An employee can make a salary deferral contribution of $17,500 in 2015 with anyone over the age of 50 be able to defer an additional $5,500 into their account. An employee may choose to defer either pre-tax money into the plan with the combined maximum still being $17,500. All eligible employees that qualify for benefits will receive an employer contribution equal to $10,000 per tax year prorated and deposited on a monthly basis. These contributions will be 100% vested to the employee immediately and may be invested by the employee along with their salary deferral contributions. Will match employee contributions 50% of up to 5% of salary.
$3k per year in education/training reimbursement. Employee must maintain an above C average for courses or pass certification courses. Employees are eligible for this benefit after the first 90 days of employment. Employee will also be required to sign a one year additional commitment to remain employed with the Company (if employee defaults on this commitment, the training/education cost will have to be paid back to the Company).
