The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor Computer Science.

Adjunct instructors plan classes and implement and evaluate teaching/leaming objectives and student learning outcomes. An adjunct instructor undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of undergraduate computer science courses within UNT Dallas's Information Technology program including online courses.
Adjunct faculty members will be required to use texts and meet certain content parameters set by the Department of Mathematics and Information sciences. Adjunct instructors also will be required to include in their courses certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria. - Master's degree in computer science with at least 18 graduate hours in computer science, and outstanding experience in teaching computer science courses.
- PhD in computer science with significant experience in higher education;
- Online teaching experience
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution;
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
Physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions
Work requires some muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as standing for long periods of time, recurring bending, or recurring lifting of items weighing up to 15 pounds.
