Position Description: The Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time clinician educator-track position available at the Assistant Professor level. The position calls for a person who, through excellence in predoctoral clinical and didactic teaching, research and service, is able to build and maintain the departmenta€™s reputation nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will have extensive teaching experience and a record of research activities. He/She must be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds in teaching and leadership. The successful candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Periodontics, have a DDS or DMD degree and be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license. Clinical practice within the Penn Dental Medicine Family Practice is available. Posting for this position will remain open until filled.
