Job Summary: The Department of Physics and Astronomy (http://www.physast.uga.edu/) at The University of Georgia (http://www.uga.edu/) seeks to hire Lecturer (Limited-Term). This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position, with duties assigned entirely to instruction in the Department's general physics and astronomy programs. The teaching load will be three courses per semester. Applicants must be committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. The duration of this position is expected to be one academic year (although extension to a second academic year may be possible if needs persists). The starting date for this position is August 7, 2017. This position will remain open until filled and completed application files will be evaluated as they are received. Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, or related field is required at the time of job offer.
