The Director of Total Rewards provides strategic leadership of all compensation and benefits programs. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and the benefits and compensation programs are administered within the parameters set by state agencies/entities who govern the respective programs. The Director of Total Rewards also develops and executes a comprehensive, customer focused communication strategy for all compensation and benefits programs that contributes to improving employee engagement and educates faculty, staff and university Human Resources contacts.
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in human resources management in the areas of compensation and benefits administration. Must have 2 years of experience supervising professional level employees.
Prefer certification in WorldatWork or other HR certifications such SPHR or PHR. Strong analytical skills.
