Humboldt State University's Department of Chemistry invites applications to our temporary faculty pool. The department seeks to hire up to two lecturers for Fall 2017 with the possibility of reappointment in future terms. Dependent upon qualifications, course load may be up to 14 units (0.93 timebase). Instructional assignments for available courses may include: General Chemistry (CHEM 109 or 110 lecture, discussion and labs) and Organic Chemistry (CHEM 328 lecture and labs and CHEM 321 labs).

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with appropriate Chemistry background and successful teaching experience or academic or professional work related to appropriate field. Demonstrated mastery/competency in the subject matter of the course(s) through relevant training and teaching experience is required for some courses.
